PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 2nd respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 06.09.2023, for the purpose of granting patta in the petitioner's name in Survey No.130/2A3, Seplanatham Village taking note of the records showing about the alienation and continuous possession of the petitioner over the land. O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the second respondent to dispose the petitioner's representation dated 06.09.2023, for granting patta.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents.

3. Since there is no adverse order passed against the third respondent in this writ petition, notice to the third respondent is dispensed with.

4. In the light of the limited scope of prayer sought for in this writ petition and the submissions of the learned counsel on either side, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 06.09.2023, after issuing notice the petitioner, third respondent and interested parties/rival claimants if any, as the case may be and conduct enquiry and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law. The abovesaid exercise shall be completed within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the abovesaid direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
