PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, calling for the records relating to the detention order in Memo No.1020/BCDFGISSSV/2024 dated 07.10.2024 passed by the 2nd respondent under the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 and set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce the petitioner's husband Nagaraj S/o. Kannan, aged about 29 years, the detenu, now confined at Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai before this Court and set him at liberty. ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) Mr.R.Muniyapparaj, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents made a submission that the impugned order of detention has already been revoked by the competent Authority vide G.O.Rt.No.7953, Home, Prohibition and Excise (X) Department, dated 18.11.2024.

Thus, no further adjudication needs to be undertaken and the Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
