ORDER

Heard both sides.

2. Since the relief sought for in the present writ petition is only for mandamus directing the 1st respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 24.06.2017, I am inclined to allow this writ petition without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case.

3. Accordingly, this Court directs the 1st respondent to pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of this order.

4. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
