The petitioner seeks bail in Crime No.616 of 2021, registered by the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 4(1)(aaa) & 4(1-A) of TNP Act and Section 7 of Tamil Nadu Rectified Spirit Rules, 2000. He had been remanded to Judicial Custody on 17.10.2023.

2.It must also be stated that after the lodgement of the complaint and registration of FIR, the petitioner appears to have absconded to Singapore of all the places, out of the country. The case could not proceed at all. Therefore, a lookout notice was issued and when he arrived back at Tiruvanandapuram Airport, he had been arrested. 3.Taking into consideration the particular fact of the possibility of the petitioner once again disappearing from judicial process, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
