This Criminal Original Petition is filed to quash the FIR in Crime No. 257 of 2019 dated 13.09.2019 on the file of the 1st respondent Police. 1/4
2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), on instructions, would submit that it is a case in counter. Two FIRs in Crime No.256 of 2019 and Crime No.257 of 2019 have been registered on the complaint given by two opposite parties with regard to the same occurrence. In both the cases, investigation has been completed and final report has been filed before the Judicial Magistrate II, Perambalur. However, C.C.No.393 of 2019 has been assigned with regard to Crime No.256 of 2019 and the charge sheet filed in Crime No.257 of 2019 has not been taken on file.
3. In view of the above, nothing survives for further adjudication in this petition. Hence, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. 20.02.2023 vum Index:yes/No Speaking order / Non speaking order 2/4
