PRAYER: Civil Revision Petition filed under Section 227 of the Constitution of India, to direct the Hon'ble Judge, District Munsif Court, Alandur to pass an order to dispose the R.C.O.P.No.116/2016 expeditiously pending before the District Munsif Court, Alandur.

This Civil Revision Petition has been filed by the petitioner/landlord who filed the R.C.O.P.No.116 of 2016 under Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Buildings (Lease and Rent Control Act) to pass an order to dispose the R.C.O.P.No.116/2016 expeditiously.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the fair rent payable by the respondent is pending, and therefore, he seeks direction to the Rent Controller (District Munsif Court), Alandur for expeditious trial disposal. http://www.judis.nic.in

3. Taking into consideration the narrow compass of the prayer, I am inclined to direct the concerned Rent Controller viz., District Munsif Court, Alandur to dispose of the R.C.O.P.No.116/16.

4. Hence, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. The learned District Munsif, Alandur is directed to dispose of the R.C.O.P.No.116 of 2016 which is at enquiry stage within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after counter filed by the respondent/tenant. No costs.
