under Section 13(2) of the Securitization and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interests Act, 2002 and quash the same as illegal, irregular and without jurisdiction and direct the respondent to accept the amount payable towards outstanding for Loan Account No.NHL/TBM/0319/667322 and to hand over the original title deeds, pertaining to the property situated at Flat No.S, 2nd Floor, Plot No.4560, Door No.162, Y-Block, 3rd Street, Anna Nagar, Chennai600 040, deposited with the respondent. ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) The prayer, which is sought to be made by way of this petition, even without approaching the Debts Recovery Tribunal, is that though the petitioner has paid the entire demand as per letter dated 08.08.2025, the bank has not considered the same nor title deeds had been returned.

2. The bank shall consider the application as also the amount which has been paid by the petitioner and take appropriate decision on the same both with regard to its satisfaction towards discharge of debt and also with regard to return of title deeds within a period of one month.
