PRAYER:-Writ Petition filed under article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for an issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 01.07.2025 for name transfer of the patta pertaining to survey No.358/2, of an extent of 3 acres 11 cents situated in Chenganavaram Village, Kalavai Taluk, Ranipet District, as expeditiously as possible within a time stipulated by this Court. ORDER

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking to direct the respondents herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 01.07.2025, whereby she sought for name transfer in the patta pertaining to survey No.358/2, of an extent of 3 acres 11 cents situated in Chenganavaram Village, Kalavai Taluk, Ranipet District.

2.Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit the petitioner approached the respondents for name transfer in the patta pertaining to survey No.358/2, of an extent of 3 acres 11 cents situated in Chenganavaram Village, Kalavai Taluk, Ranipet District and submitted her representation on 01.07.2025 before the respondents. However, till date the said representation dated 01.07.2025 has not been considered by the respondents. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

4.Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 01.07.2025 will be considered and disposed of within a period of six weeks.

5.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. 6.Considering the submission made by both the parties and in view of the limited prayer sought for in this Writ Petition, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 01.07.2025 and dispose of the same within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 7.With the aforesaid direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
