This Petition is filed to condone the delay of 52 days in filing the above Criminal Appeal against the order in STC.No.813 of 2018, dated 02.09.2022 passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate Court No.2, Sankari, Salem.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, there was no representation for the respondent. Hence, his name was printed in the cause list. Today also there is no representation for the respondent.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and perused the affidavit filed in support of this petition.

4. The reasons stated in the affidavit is accepted and the delay of 52 days in filing the Criminal Appeal is condoned. Accordingly, this petition is ordered.
