The prayer sought for herein is for a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st Respondnt to fix a fair rate for the land acquired vide G.O. Ms.No. 88 Industries (SIPCOT - LA) Department dated 20.04.2015 published in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette Extraordinary No. 92 dated 20.04.2015 within a time frame.
2. Heard Mr.K.Balasubramaniam learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader.
3. Learned Government Pleader would contend that the prayer sought for in this writ petition is to fix the compensation for the land of the petitioner acquired for public purpose as per the land acquisition proceedings issued in the year 2015. In fact the award has already been passed and compensation has been fixed and a communication to that effect though was claimed to have been sent to the petitioner, since the petitioner claims that it has not been served on him, one more copy of the said proceedings is now being issued to the learned counsel for the petitioner, he contended.
4. In view of the aforesaid, where the prayer sought for in this writ petition since has already been accomplished and a copy of the proceedings issued by the respondents also now has been served on the learned counsel for 2 / 4
the petitioner, this writ petition can be disposed of by recording the said development.
5. Considering the aforesaid submission and by recording the said development, where the proceedings already been issued by the respondents where award has been passed for the land acquired from the petitioner, no further orders are required to be passed in this writ petition. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
