O R D E R

Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice on behalf of the respondents. With consent of both sides, the main Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioners petition dated 30.07.2025 and issue a separate patta in respect of Survey No. 157/6A, 157/7A to an extent of 14 cents and Survey No. 157/6B , 157/7B to an extent 28 cents in Thiruvamoor Village, Panruti Taluk, Cuddalore to the petitioner within the time frame fixed by this Court. 2/6

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the absolute owner of the property. The petitioner submitted a petition to the 2nd respondent for cancellation of Patta No.1900 in respect of Survey No.157/6B and 157/7B, Thiruvamoor Village for the reason that while issuing separate patta to the 4th respondent the aforesaid survey Nos. has been added which belongs to the petitioner instead of adding S.No.157/6C and 157/7C. Since no action has been taken on the said petition, the petitioner is before this Court by way of the present writ petition.

4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the 2nd respondent would consider the petitioner's petition and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within the time to be stipulated by this Court.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also upon the submissions made, this Court without going into the merits of the case directs the 2nd respondent to consider and pass orders on the petition filed by 3/6

the petitioner dated 30.07.2025, on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the petitioner and the 4th respondent and also affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, 4th respondent as well as any of the interested parties, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.
