O R D E R

The protest petition filed by the complainant is under consideration before the District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvottiyur. Since the 1/4

protest petition has not been taken up for consideration for the past 3 months, the present Criminal original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the concerned Magistrate to dispose of the protest petition.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side)appearing for the respondent police states that the proposed accused has filed counter on the last hearing and the matter is adjourned to 02.12.2023 for further hearing. 3.

In the light of the above fact, this Court is of the view that no specific time to be fixed by way of direction to the District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvottiyur, as prayed in this petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to pass appropriate orders within a reasonable time.
