Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to provide water and sewerage connection to the petitioner Sri Harikrishna Bajani Madam at No.87/35, Samibakthan Street, Ramalingapuram, Chennai-600 012 based on the petitioner's representation dated 21.11.2019. By consent, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner herein claiming to be in possession of the property bearing door No.87/35, Samibakthan Street, Ramalingapuram, Chennai-600 012 has sought for water and sewerage connection through his letter dated 21.11.2019. Immediately the present writ petition is filed within a week seeking Mandamus to direct the respondents to provide water and sewerage connection.

3. The learned Standing counsel for the respondents submits that if any persons needs water and sewerage connection, he should apply in the prescribed format along with fees and relevant documents. Without relevant documents and application in the prescribed format, mere representation will not be taken for consideration.

4. Recording the same, this writ petition is dismissed. It is open to the petitioner to make proper application in the prescribed format and seek water and sewerage connection. No costs.
