By consent of both the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as respondents, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider her Application dated 14.10.2020 and issue Birth Certificate, within the time stipulated by this Court.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner-Shaheena Begum was born on 12.05.1969. However, the birth of the petitioner was not registered in accordance with law. Therefore, the petitioner's husband submitted an application before the 2nd respondent on 14.10.2020 seeking registration of birth of his wife and the same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

Mr.S.Balamurugan, learned Government Advocate, who is taking notice for the respondent would submit that the application submitted by the petitioner's husband dated 14.10.2020 was already forwarded to the 3rd respondent on 09.07.2024 and the said Authority will consider the same on its own merits and in accordance with law, within the time stipulated by this Court.

In view of the same, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to direct the 3rd respondent to consider the application of the petitioner's husband dated 14.10.2020 and pass final orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
