In the captioned writ petition, Mr.C.Prakasam, learned counsel on record for writ petitioner is before this Court.
2. Learned counsel submits that the captioned matter arises under the 'Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies Act, 1983' [hereinafter 'said Act' for the sake of convenience and clarity].
3. It may not be necessary to be detained by facts as learned counsel submits that a statutory appeal filed on 22.08.2022 by the writ petitioner before the first respondent under Section 152 of said Act (along with a stay application) is pending and learned counsel requests for expeditious disposal of the statutory appeal and stay application primarily on the ground that the writ petitioner has only three months tenure left.
4. Mr.S.Ravikumar, learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of both the respondents.

Learned State counsel submits on instructions that there has been no delay in disposal of statutory appeal, appeals are being taken up chronologically and in any event, even going by regular chronology / business of first respondent, the appeal of writ petitioner is likely to be disposed of within six weeks from today.
6. Therefore, the captioned Writ Petition is disposed of with a simple directive to the first respondent to dispose of the aforementioned writ petitioner's statutory appeal under Section 152 of said Act (along with stay application) on its own merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as the business of the first respondent would permit and in any event, within six weeks from today i.e., on or before 02.02.2023. There shall be no order as to costs.
