Prayer : Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 4th respondent to allow the petitioner to join duty as Office Assistant in the 4th respondent office immediately based on the relieving order dated 25.06.2025 issued by the 5th respondent and also to pay the arrears of the salary to the petitioner within a stipulated time as fixed by this Honourable Court. ORDER

The petitioner is working as an Office Assistant with B.Mallapuram, Grade - I Town Panchayat, Dharmapuri District. He was transferred on 19.06.2025 to Harur, Special Grade Town Panchayat, Dharmapuri District. When he attempted to join the new post, he was not permitted to do so. Hence, the writ petition is for the aforesaid relief.

2. When the matter was called for admission, Mr. M.S.Prem Kumar representing the respondents stated that the petitioner has been re-transferred by an order dated 22.08.2025 from Harur Town Panchayat to B.Mallapuram Town Panchayat. He states that the petitioner can now report at the new place of posting and he will be given duties accordingly. The transfer order has been

served on the counsel for the petitioner across the Bar. The petitioner is granted time till 12.09.2025 to report at the new station.

3. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
