This matter was taken up for hearing under the caption "For Clarification" today.

2. Earlier, this Court by an order dated 23.12.2022 granted anticipatory bail to the petitioner and also issued direction. However, in para-7 of the order, instead of giving direction to the Social Defence Department to grant interim compensation as per the Victim Compensation Scheme, a direction was given to the concerned Sessions Judge. Hence, the matter is listed today.

3. In the said circumstances, paragraph-7 of the order is clarified as follows:

In Para 7 at Page 3 "7. Further, as per FIR, the petitioners are liable for death to victim girl and they have been charged for the offences under Sections 366 of IPC, 5(I), 5(J) (II), 6, 16, 17 of POCSO Act, 2012 and Section 9 of Prohibition of Child Marriage Act. On considering the nature of occurrence, this Court recommends 1/3

that it is a fit case to refer as per 357(A) (1) (2) and (6) of Cr.P.C. The Sessions Judge, Magalir Neethi Mandram, (Fast Track Mahila Court) Erode, is hereby directed to pass appropriate order to the Social Defence Department for disbursing the compensation amount of Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh Only) as interim compensation to the minor child as fixed deposit in any nationalised Bank until he/she attain majority under the guardianship of either maternal grandparents or paternal grandparents within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order as per manner known to law. "

4. Registry is directed to incorporate above correction in the Order of this Court in Crl.O.P.No. 31930 of 2022 dated 23.12.2022 and issue fresh order copy to the petitioner.
