Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a direction in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.09.2024 with a further direction to the respondent to furnish copies of the two recovery orders mentioned in the representation on whose basis the respondent is recovering Rs.24,000/- from the monthly pay of the petitioner towards alleged storage loss to enable the petitioner to take appropriate further action in law.

ORDER

This writ petition is filed to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.09.2024 with a further direction to the respondent to furnish copies of the two recovery orders mentioned in the representation on whose basis the respondent is recovering Rs.24,000/- from the monthly pay of the petitioner towards alleged storage loss to enable the petitioner to take appropriate further action in law.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner imposed with two recoveries by the Nagapattinam Region. An amount of Rs.24,000/- was docked from his monthly pay against the recoveries by Mayiladudurai Region, where he is currently employed. Therefore, the petitioner has sent a representation to the respondent seeking copies of both recovery orders. But, till date his representation was not considered by the respondent. Hence, the writ petition.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he was imposed with two recoveries by the Nagapattinam Region. An amount of 2/6

Rs.24,000/- was docked from his monthly pay against the recoveries by Mayiladudurai Region, where he is currently employed. Hence, the petitioner has sent a representation to the respondent on 02.09.2024, seeking copies of both recovery orders. But, till date his representation was not considered by the respondent. Hence the petitioner has preferred the writ petition before this Court.

4. Mr.C.Selvaraj, Standing Counsel, learned standing counsel takes notice for respondent.

5. The learned standing counsel appearing for the respondent submits that the representation dated 02.09.2024 would be considered on merits and in accordance with law by the Authority concerned.

6. Heard the learned counsel on both sides and perused the materials available on record.

7. The representation made by the petitioner to the respondent dated 02.09.2024 was not considered till date, therefore, the respondent is 3/6

directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 02.09.2024, on merits and in accordance with law, with a further direction to the respondent to furnish copies of the two recovery orders mentioned in the representation, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

8. In the result, the writ petition stands disposed of with the above observation and direction. No costs.
