Heard Mr. G.Pugazhenthi, Learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner and Mr. A.Sundaravadanam, Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the Respondent and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties. 2.

The Writ Petition has been filed for directing the Respondent to consider the representation made by the Petitioner for payment of interest at the rate of 18% for the delayed payment of gratuity for the period from 30.09.2012 to 23.05.2017. 3.

It has been brought to notice by Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the Respondent that the Petitioner has been informed by Letter No.

delayed payment of gratuity has been paid remitted on 10.04.2018 through ECS in his bank account and its copy has been placed on record. Learned Counsel for the Petitioner has acknowledged the receipt of the copy of the said letter which has been furnished to him in the Court today. In view of the subsequent events after the filing of the Writ Petition, nothing remains to be decided in the matter.
