When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the affidavit of the respondent was placed before this Court and the relevant portions are extracted hereunder :

"10. It is respectfully submitted that the case in C.C.No.6683 of 2023 ended in conviction on 23.06.2025. 'In the result, the accused 2, 5, 7 are acquitted from the charges u/s.381 r/w 109, 419, 420, 411 of IPC and 3rd accused alone hereby convicted for the offence u/s.467 of IPC and sentenced him to undergo 15 days simple imprisonment and imposed fine Rs.2,000/- in default, he shall undergo 7 days simple imprisonment. 3rd accused is convicted for the offence u/s.468 of IPC and sentenced that he shall undergo 15 days simple imprisonment and imposed fine Rs.2,000/- in default, he shall undergo 7 days simple imprisonment. He is alone convicted for the offence u/s.471 of IPC and imposed fine Rs.2,000/- in default, he shall undergo 7 days simple imprisonment.
11. It is respectfully submitted that the split-up case against A-6 & A-4 C.C.No.8331 of 2021 is compounded. 'In the result, the accused acquitted from the charge u/s.441 of IPC on the basis of that offence is compoundable in nature."
2. The judgment passed by the Additional Court for Exclusive Trial of CCB Cases, Egmore, dated 23.06.2025, was also placed before this Court.
