ORDER
This petition has been filed to transfer the case in Crime No.443 of 2023 under the caption "Man Missing" pending on the file of the P-6 Kodungaiyur Police Station, Kodungaiyur, Chennai - 118, to any other competent agency or CBCID for proper and further investigation. 2.
The petitioner is the wife and her husband was missing from her residence and as such she lodged complaint. On receipt of the same, the second respondent registered a FIR in Crime No.443 of 2023 under the man missing. So far, no further progress in the investigation and as such the petitioner sought for transfer of investigation in Crime No.443 of 2023.

On perusal of the status filed by the second respondent revealed that so far, they enquired more than 15 persons who are residing in and around the petitioner's house. There is absolutely no clue from any
body. The second respondent already formed a special team to find out the petitioner's husband. They also fixed the missing person's photo in the locality and taking all efforts to search the petitioner's husband. 4.
In view of the above, this Court finds no ground to transfer the investigation since already the second respondent had taken numerous steps to find out the petitioner's husband. If the investigation is transfered, it would affect the investigation done by the second respondent. The petitioner shall co-operate with the investigating officer by furnishing the relevant materials to find out her husband. The second respondent is directed to complete the investigation as early as possible. 5.
Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
