O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by R.SURESH KUMAR, J.) The prayer sought for herein is for a Writ of Mandamus to consider and pass orders in the petitioner's representation dated 14.09.2023 within a time frame and after affording sufficient opportunity of hearing.

2. The petitioner, in order to rectify the deviation in the construction she has made, had sent a representation / appeal under Section 80A of the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act to the Government on 14.09.2023. In order to consider the said appeal / representation and to pass orders on merits, seeking a writ of mandamus this writ petition has been filed.

3. However, when the case is taken up for hearing at the admission stage, Mr.Gopinath, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, on instructions would submit that, in the meanwhile on 14.11.2023 after filing of this writ petition or just before filing of the writ petition, an order has been passed by the Government rejecting the Section 80A appeal, thereby the prayer of mandamus has become infructuous. Therefore, the learned counsel wants to record this development and accordingly dispose of this writ petition. 2/4

4. Heard Mr.K.V.Sajeev Kumar, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent, who also stated the same.

5. In view of the aforesaid development, as the representation / appeal of the petitioner having been considered, was rejected by an order dated 14.11.2023, no further adjudication is necessary in this writ petition. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs. (R.S.K.,J..)
