ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records pertaining to FIR in Crime No.96 of 2019, pending on the file of the respondent police and to quash the same.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that the respondent has filed a final report before the Judicial Magistrate, Arakkonam on 13.10.2019 but the learned Judicial Magistrate has not taken the case on file.

3. The learned Judicial Magistrate, Arakkonam, is directed to verify as to whether final report is filed. If so, he has to take the case on file if it is otherwise in order and proceed in accordance with law as per the directions issued by a Division Bench of this Court in Muthu Vs. The District Collector, Pudukottai District and others (W.P.(MD). Nos.19936 of 2017 and 7595 of 2018) dated 29.10.2018. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Recording the aforesaid submissions made by the

learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
