This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondent for wilful disobedience of the order passed in W.P.No.16096 of 2004 dated 02.09.2022.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent submitted that a Writ Appeal in W.A.No.3136 of 2024, has been filed challenging the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.16096 of 2004 dated 02.09.2022 and an order of interim stay has been granted in the said Writ Appeal.
