O R D E R
Mrs.S.Indhu Bala, learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 4. With consent of both sides, the main Writ Petition is taken up for disposal at the stage of admission itself.
2. This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the 3rd Respondent to rectify the measurements in Field Measurement Book (FMB) for the properties comprised in S.F. No 407/1A, 407/2A1A and 407/15 situated in Maniyabadi village, Pappireddipatti Taluk, Dharmapuri District, by considering the representation of the petitioners dated 07.07.2025 and 23.07.2025.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the aforesaid properties belong to the petitioners and both are in peaceful 2/6
possession and enjoyment of the said properties. While so, to their shock and surprise, the petitioners came to know that the measurements recorded in the Field Measurement Book (FMB) are incorrect and no not match the actual physical boundaries of the land. Therefore, the petitioner submitted representations dated 07.07.2025 and 23.07.2025 to the respondents 1 to 4 to rectify the measurements in Field Measurement Book (FMB) for the properties comprised in S.F. No 407/1A, 407/2A1A and 407/15 situated in Maniyabadi village, Pappireddipatti Taluk, Dharmapuri District, by considering the representation of the petitioners dated 07.07.2025 and 23.07.2025.
4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 would submit that the respondent concerned would consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.07.2025 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame fixed by this Court.
5. Heard both sides. Perused the records.
6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and upon 3/6
the submissions made, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent concerned to pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 23.07.2025, on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the petitioner and the 5th respondent and also affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, 5th respondent as well as to any of the interested parties, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.
7. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
