The petitioner/A5 who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 12.10.2023, for the offences punishable under Section 302 IPC, in Crime No.1022 of 2023 on the file of the respondent Police, seeks bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the son of the present petitioner was earlier murdered in the year 2022 with respect to which Crime No.387 of 2022 had been registered. Subsequently, the petitioner herein had arranged the friends of her son to commit the murder of the deceased.

3.All the five accused are still in judicial custody. There being a strong motive for the commission of the offence and also possibility of further retaliation from the family members of the deceased, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
