A1 and A2 seek anticipatory bail in Crime No.249 of 2023, registered under Sections 6(4) of Tamil Nadu Schedule Commodities (RDCS) Order, 1982 r/w Section 7(1) (a) (II) of Essential Commodities Act, 1950 . 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondent. 3.It is stated that A1 is owner of the Lorry bearing registration No.TN-25 J 0766 and A2 is the owner of the PDS rice which had been seized and the PDS rise is of 3500 kilo grams. It is also stated that A1 has two previous cases of similar in nature which means that the said lorry has been used again and again for the same purpose. In view of the large quantity of the PDS rice which was sought to be illegally transported, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail, both the petitions stand dismissed. 4.Accordingly, both the criminal original petitions are dismissed. 20.11.2023 kp 1/2 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
