Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition filed under Section 24 of the Civil Procedure Code, to withdraw O.S. No.197 of 2018 pending on the file of learned District Munsif, Alandur and transfer the same to the file of I Additional Family Court, Chennai, to be tried along with O.S. No.179 of 2018.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the respondent has been served about the pendency of the proceedings before this court. There is no representation for the respondent. As the respondent has not shown any interest to represent the matter before this court even though his name is printed in the cause list, O.S. No.197 of 2018 pending on the file of District Munsif Court, Alandur, is withdrawn from the said court and transferred to the file of I Additional Family Court, Chennai, to be tried along with O.S. No.179 of 2018. The learned I Additional Family Judge, Chennai, is expected to conclude the trial, as expeditiously as possible, without adjourning the matter beyond 45 working days, at any point of time, in order to bring the issue to a logical end. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. The Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is allowed as indicated above. No costs. Consequently, the connected Civil Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
