For Petitioner(s) : M/s.Devadason and Sagar for petitioner(s) in both CRPs COMMON ORDER These revision petitions have been filed seeking a direction to the Principal District Judge, Chengalpattu, to pass appropriate orders

on the question of maintainability of the plaints filed in OS SR No.3838 and 3834 of 2018.

2. The petitioners herein filed plaints against the respondents herein before the Principal District Judge, Chengalpattu, for damages for illegal detention. The above plaints have not been numbered as the learned Judge had raised the question of maintainability of the plaints. The grievance of the petitioners is that though the counsel appearing for the petitioners had argued the question of maintainability on several times, the learned Principal District Judge simply adjourning the matters without deciding the question of maintainability of the plaints.

3. Considering the fact that already the matters are posted for maintainability and the petitioners' counsel had also argued the matter on the question of maintainability of the plaints, the Principal District Judge, Chengalpattu, is directed to pass appropriate orders on the question of maintainability, if no orders have been passed so far, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of

this order. These Civil Revision Petitions are disposed of accordingly with the above directions. No costs.
