Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to shift the District and Sessions Court of Kanchipuram District at Chengalpattu, including other Subordinate Courts of Kanchipuram District at Chengalpattu to the jurisdiction of Kanchipuram District from Chengalpattu as per the petitioner's representation dated 28.08.2023. ORDER

(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard Mr.R.Anbalagan, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.Durai Eswar, learned counsel for the first respondent and Mr.C.Kathiravan, learned Special Government Pleader, for respondents 2 to 6.

2. The contention of the petitioner is that the courts within the jurisdiction of Kanchipuram District be shifted from Chengalpattu District to Kanchipuram District.

3. The said aspect is being considered on the administrative side of the High Court.

4. In view of that, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
