This petition has been filed to condone the delay of 601 days in preferring the C.M.A. against the order dated 20.12.2022 passed in M.C.O.P.No.279 of 2012 on the file of the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal, Principal Subordinate Court, Ponneri.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.R.Ravichandran, learned counsel appearing for the 2nd respondent.

3. The reasons adduced in the affidavit filed in support of this petition being satisfactory, this civil miscellaneous petition stands ordered and consequently, the delay of 601 days in filing the above appeal is condoned, subject to the condition that the petitioner will not be entitled to any interest for the delay period i.e., for 601 days, in the appeal.

4. Registry is directed to number the appeal, if it is otherwise in order and post the case for admission in due course.
