The Writ Petition has been filed for directing the Respondent to take departmental action against one Srinivasa, Sub-Inspector of Police, Gaddar Police Station, Villupuram District based on the complaint dated 28.10.2016 made by the Petitioner.
2. The Respondent has filed Counter-Affidavit dated 03.03.2017 stating that action has been taken against the said Srinivasa, Sub-Inspector of Police by transferring him from Gaddar Police Station to Keezhuppam Police Station. In view of the same, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner seeks permission of the Court to withdraw this Writ Petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect in the court record. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
In fine, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
