ORDER

By consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal in the admission stage itself.

2. Mr.R.U. Dinesh Rajkumar, learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice for the respondents 1 to 3.

3. This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction to the respondents to transfer the petitioner from the post of Record Clerk, Harur Town Panchayat, Dharmapuri District to Record Clerk, Pallikonda Selection Grade Town Panchayat, Vellore District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 23.11.2022, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

4. Heard Mr.R.Jayaprakash, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.R.U. Dinesh Rajkumar, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents 1 to 3.

5. The petitioner has given reasons in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition to support his request for transfer from Harur Town Panchayat, Dharmapuri District to Pallikonda Selection Grade Town Panchayat, Vellore District. It is for the respondents to consider the same 2/4

on merits and in accordance with law. The petitioner has given a representation on 23.11.2022 for the said purpose.

5. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if a direction is issued to the respondents to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 23.11.2022 requesting for transfer.

6. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the 1st respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 23.11.2022 seeking for transfer from Harur Town Panchayat, Dharmapuri District to Pallikonda Selection Grade Town Panchayat, Vellore District, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
