This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed to suspend the sentence imposed on the petitioner/appellant in judgment made in Spl.C.C.No.18 of 2018 on the file of Sessions Judge of Mahalir Neethimandram (FTMC), Udhagamandalam, Nilgiris District dated 30.03.2022 and enlarge the petitioner on bail, pending disposal of the above appeal.

2. This is the third bail petition for suspension of sentence. The earlier bail petition for suspension of sentence was dismissed by this Court on 28.06.2024 on merits. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition and therefore this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is dismissed. However, since the petitioner is in custody for about two years, this court is of the view that the appeal may be taken up for final hearing during first week of January 2025.

3. Post the main appeal for final hearing during first week of January 2025.
