This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents police to remove the petitioner's name from the history sheet in HS-1/2014 of the second respondent police station based on the petitioner's representation dated 02.10.2024.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents would submit that there were eight cases against the petitioner, out of which the petitioner was acquitted in five cases and convicted in three cases. In view of the statement made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents and considering the antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant the relief sought for the in the writ petition. Accordingly the writ petition shall stand dismissed. No costs. 2/4
