Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent to publish the provisional selection list in respect of Kannada medium in pursuant to the notification issued by the third respondent vide notification dated 01/2021 dated 09.09.2021 taking into consideration of the fact that the provisional selection list in respect of other language was already published by the TRB on 27.08.2022 and consequentially to consider the petitioner for appointment to the post of P.G.Assistant (Chemistry) within the time.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed directing the third respondent to publish the provisional selection list in respect of Kannada medium in pursuant to the notification issued by the third respondent vide notification dated 01/2021 dated 09.09.2021 taking into consideration of the fact that the provisional selection list in respect of other language was already published by the TRB on 27.08.2022 and consequentially to

consider the petitioner for appointment to the post of P.G.Assistant (Chemistry) within the time.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the revised provisional selection list for Chemistry was published on 12.10.2022. Further, the Board had issued notification vide Advertisement No.01/2021 dated 09.09.2021 and invited applications for eligible candidates for direct recruitment for the post of P.G. Assistant /Physical Education Directors Grade-I and Computer Instructor Grade-I for the year 2020-2021. The petitioner had qualified with M.Sc (Chemistry) and B.Ed and applied for the post of Post Graduate Assistant (Chemistry) and he had secured only 72 marks.

4. Therefore, his name was not included in the shortlisted candidates for certificate verification in the ratio of 1:2 for the subject

Chemistry which was published on 28.08.2022 in the official website of Teachers Recruitment Board. Further, the revised provisional selection list for Chemistry was published on 12.10.2022.

5. In view of the above, this writ petition is devoid of merits and is liable to be dismissed. Accordingly, this writ petition stands dismissed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs. 11.01.2024 Internet: Yes Index : Yes/No Speaking/Non Speaking order mn
