Prayer : Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent 1st to 3rd to take action against the respondents 4 to 10 and other workmen who are indulged in violence and committed serious offence based on the petitioner representation dated 07.07.2017 with the time stipulated by this Court pending disposal of the above writ petition.

O R D E R

The writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to take action against the respondents 4 to 10 and other workmen who are indulged in violence and committed serious offence based on the petitioner representation dated 07.07.2017.

2. It is seen that the petitioner has sought for a direction directing respondents 1 to 3 to take action against respondents 4 to 10. Now, almost two years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted now. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh petition, on fresh cause of action, if so advised. 3.

With the above observation, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
