Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd and 7th respondents to release the outstanding payment to the tune of Rs.2,35,36,130/- for the service rendered by the petitioner for a period from 31.10.2023 to 31.10.2024 on construction of Most Backward class girls Hostel based on the representation of the petitioner dated 07.08.2025 and to fix the time frame For Petitioner : Mr.M.Selvam For Respondents : Mr.P.Kumaresan, AAG Assisted by Mrs.S.Anitha Special Government Pleader 2/6

O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd and 7th respondents to release the outstanding payment to the tune of Rs.2,35,36,130/- for the service rendered by the petitioner for a period from 31.10.2023 to 31.10.2024 on construction of Most Backward class girls Hostel based on the representation of the petitioner dated 07.08.2025 and to fix the time frame.

2. The case of the petitioner is that there was due regarding outstanding payment of the petitioner to the tune of Rs.2,35,36,130/- for the service rendered by the petitioner for the period between 31.10.2023 to 31.10.2024 for construction of Girls Hostel for Most Backward Caste and for payment of the outstanding money, the petitioner made a representation on 7.08.2025, however, no order was passed, hence the present writ petition.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner contended that it would suffice for this Court to direct the respondents, more particularly the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation on merits and in accordance with law.

4. Per contra, the learned counsel appearing for the respondents seek time to consider the petitioner's representation.

5. In view of the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, without going into the merits of the matter, this Court hereby directs the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 31.10.2023 on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
