ORDER

This revision seeks for expeditious disposal of O.S.No.160 of 2015 pending on the file of the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate,

2. I called for a report from the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Sriperumbudur on 18.11.2024.

3. The learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Sriperumbudur has sent a report stating that the suit was filed on 18.04.2015 along with an emergent application and was taken on file on the same day. Notice was ordered to the defendants on 18.04.2015. Subsequently, 1st defendant was set ex-parte on 31.08.2015 and written statements by D2 to 2/5

D4 were filed on 18.02.2016. Issues were framed on 28.07.2016 and the case was posted for trial on 08.09.2016.

4. The report further reveals that on 27.09.2016, the plaintiff filed an impleading petition in I.A.No.1299 of 2016 to add a subsequent purchaser of the suit property as 5th defendant. The petition was heard and allowed on 16.02.2024. Pursuant to the order, the plaintiff filed an amendment petition along with additional court fees and now the case is posted for scrutiny of the amendment petition and additional court fees on 27.11.2024. The learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Sriperumbudur states, he requires a period of 2 to 3 months for the disposal of this case on merits.

5. Taking into consideration the report submitted by the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Sriperumbudur, I am inclined to grant four months from the date of report to dispose of O.S.No.160 of 2015.

6. With the above direction, this civil revision petition is disposed of. 3/5
