This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records in STC No.1726 of 2022, pending on the file of IV Fast Track Judge, Metropolitan Magistrate, George Town, Chennai and quash the same. 2.This Court, after hearing the submissions of the learned counsel for 1/3

the petitioner and going through the records, expressed its view that it cannot accept the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and proceeded to dismiss the petition. At this juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioner prayed for permission to withdraw this petition. He has also made an endorsement to that effect.

3.In view of the same, permission is granted and this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
