Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the second respondent to conduct enquiry and to pass orders regarding removal of the encroachments and the illegal constructions from the lands in S.No.560/3, Elliamman Temple and in S.No.213/2, in Pennadam Village and in S.No.115/1 in O.Keeranur Village within the Thittakudi Taluk, Coimbatore District pursuant to the report of the third respondent dated 26.07.2021.

ORDER
(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard Ms.Elizabeth Ravi, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.N.R.R.Arun Natarajan, learned Special Government Pleader (HR & CE) for respondents 1 to 4.
2. Learned Special Government Pleader (HR & CE) submits that the lands are measured and encroachers are identified. Steps would be taken for removal of the encroachments. Six months' time is required to complete the process of removal of encroachments. If any unauthorized construction is carried out, the same would be stopped.
3. As the first respondent has assured to proceed in accordance with law expeditiously for removal of the encroachments, if any, no further orders are necessary. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. There will be no order as to costs. Consequently, W.M.P.No.32480 of 2023 is closed.
