Mr.U.Baranidharan, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice on behalf of the respondent. With consent, the main Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

2. This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register the gift deed dated 22/08/2025 in favour of the petitioner's wife executed by the petitioner within the time stipulated by this Court.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner intend to settle his property to the extent of 41 cents in Survey No.103/1B1 and 103/2E in S.Venkarai Village, Paramathivelu Taluk in Namakkal District to his wife and therefore prepared the gift deed on 22.08.2025 and when the same was presented for registration, the respondent has orally refused to register the same. Therefore, the petitioner has come forward with this writ petition seeking for the aforesaid relief.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the 2/4

respondent after getting instructions would submit that based on the oral information the petitioner has filed this writ petition stating that the respondent has refused to register the gift deed presented by the petitioner but no such gift deed has been presented by the petitioner before the respondent. However, he would fairly submit if the petitioner produces the gift deed before the respondent for registration, they will consider the same, if it is otherwise in other

6. In the case on hand, it appears that the petitioner based on the oral information received from the respondent filed this writ petition stating tha the respondent refused to register the gift deed. However, the fact remains that no gift deed was presented before the respondent for registration.

7. In such view of the matter,the petitioner is directed to present the gift deed before the respondent for registration, within a period of four KRISHNAN RAMASAMY, J.

weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on production of the same, respondent shall register the same, if it is otherwise in order.
