Prayer:- Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, 1950, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Second and Third Respondents to recover forthwith a sum of Rs. 97,363/- payable to the Petitioner towards interest as per the order dated 30.11.2015 passed in EC. No. 30/2014 and as per the recovery certificate dated 07.12.2016 issued by the Commissioner for Employees Compensation in R.R. 23/2016 and in accordance with the provisions contained in the Revenue Recovery Act, from the First Respondent and to deposit the said amount to the credit of EC. No. 30/2014 on the file of the Deputy Commissioner of Labour/Commissioner for Employees Compensation, Coimbatore - 18 within a specified time.

It is represented by Learned Counsel for both sides that a sum of Rs. 96,606/- has been paid by way of Cheque No. 975641 dated 14.03.2022 drawn on Indian Overseas Bank, Mettupalayam Road Branch, Coimbatore and the receipt of the same is acknowledged by Learned Counsel for the Petitioner in full satisfaction of claim of the Petitioner. Nothing remains for further consideration in this Writ Petition. In view of the same, any recovery proceedings initiated by the Second Respondent shall be dropped under intimation to the concerned parties.
