ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.09.2023.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, the petitioner filed a representation dated 26.09.2023 before the 3rd respondent, requesting to cancel the patta stands in the name of Boomithan board inrespect of Land situated in S.No.133/1A, Vavipalayam Village, Palladam Taluk, Tiruppur District and issue patta in the petitioner name inrespect of the land situated in S.No.133/1A, Vavipalayam Village, Palladam Taluk, Tiruppur District by verifying the petitioners partition deeds in document No.1040 of 1950 dated 26.06.1950 and document No.1678 of 1983 dated 22.09.1983. However, the said representation was not at all considered by the 3rd respondent till date. Hence, this petition.

3. In reply, the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondent would submit that in this case, subsequent to the representation, enquiry was conducted and the final order is yet to be passed. Hence, he seeks further time to dispose of the petitioner's representation.

4. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the respondent and also perused the entire materials available on record.

5. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the 3rd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 26.09.2023 and dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
