PETITION under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal dated 04.5.2023 preferred under Section 12 of the Tamil Nadu Patta Passbook Act within a stipulated time to be fixed by this Court.

ORDER
Aggrieved by the modification of patta entries by the second respondent in respect of the properties comprised in R.S.Nos.332/3, 1/3
334/2 and 331/1 (old S.F.Nos.478/1, 476/1 and 479/1), Chitravuthanpalayam Village, Dharapuram Taluk, Tiruppur District, the petitioner filed an appeal before the first respondent on 04.5.2023. This appeal has not been disposed of. Hence the writ petition.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader accepting notice for the respondents.
3. Considering the limited nature of the relief sought, the writ petition is allowed and a Mandamus is issued to the first respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 04.5.2023 within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
