W.MP.Nos.33698 & 33699 of 2019 in W.P.No. 33238 of 2019 M.DHANDAPANI,J., Challenging the ineligible list dated 20.11.2019 published by the 1st respondent for the post of P.G. Assistant (Mathematics), the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in fact the petitioner has qualified in Post Graduate Degree which is the qualification prescribed for the post of P.G. Assistant, exactly on the cut off dated i.e., 14.07.2019, on which date his final semester examination result was published i.e. Even before the cut off date (15.07.2019), the petitioner processed his applications through on-line mode and in written examination he scored good mark and based on which there is every likely-wood of his getting employment. However to a shock and surprise in the provisional selection list published by the 1st respondent on 20.11.2019 the petitioner name was not found, but found in the list of ineligible candidates. Hence the learned counsel seeks interim direction has sought for in the petition.

3.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court is of the view that the petitioner has made out a prima facie case and therefore, there shall be an interim direction to the 1st respondent to keep one post (P.G. Assistant-Mathematics) vacant, until further orders. Consequently, there shall be an interim injunction in respect of this one post alone.
