On 18.12.2023, when the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 to 5, sought time for filing action taken report and this Court passed the following order.

"3. At his request, list the Writ Petition under the caption 'For Reporting Compliance', on 03.01.2024. In failure of non-compliance, the Chief Secretary, Chief Secretary's Office, Government of Tamil Nadu, Secretariat, Chennai - 600 009, is directed to appear before this Court on the next hearing date."

2. In view of the above order, now a 'Compliance affidavit' dated 03.01.2024 has been filed on behalf of respondents 1 to 5.

3. The said 'Compliance Affidavit' is taken on file and the compliance of the order dated 10.11.2023 made in W.P.No.17756 of 2017, is hereby recorded.
