ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to complete the Investigation in Crime No.221/2025 on the file of respondent and file the final report within a stipulated time prescribed by this Court.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the Accused A1 and A2 had approached the petitioner for sale of a land and the petitioner also paid a sum of Rs.38,00,000/- to the accused for purchasing the land to the account of A3. Thereafter, the petitioner came to know that the above property has been sold to some third parties. Therefore, the petitioner requested the accused to return his money. However, the accused had not returned the amount and they had abused and threatened the petitioner with dire consequences. In this regard, the petitioner had given a complaint to the respondent and on the basis of the said complaint though a case in Crime No.221 of 2025 has been registered, there is no progress in the investigation. During the pendency of the said complaint, the accused had returned only part of the amount and still a sum of Rs.22,00,000/- is yet to be received from the accused. Hence, the present petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate [Criminal Side] appearing for the respondent on instructions submitted that the investigation is almost completed and the final report will be filed within a period of three months.

4. Considering the submissions of the learned Government Advocate [Criminal Side], the respondent is directed to complete investigation and file the final report within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
