The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in Crime No.390 of 2023, registered by the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 395 of IPC.

2. The petitioner is A16. It is also stated that 4 of the other accused had been detained in Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982. It is stated that out of the amount which had been stolen, a sum of Rs.16 lakhs had been recovered. Counter had been filed by the respondent, wherein it had been stated that the role of the petitioner herein had been revealed from the confession of A1 that the petitioner was watching the movement of the defacto complainant and had informed the same to the other accused.

3. It is also stated that he received commission Rs.50,000/- from A1. It is also stated that the mobile number of the petitioner has to be identified. It is stated that investigation has not yet done. Earlier

anticipatory bail application had been dismissed on 31.10.2023 in Crl.O.P.No.24480 of 2023. There is no change in circumstances, one accused is still absconding.

4. Taking all those factors into consideration, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
