O R D E R

Writ petition is filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to give compassionate ground appointment in favour of the petitioner.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3.The case of the petitioner is that her father was working as Sub Inspector of Police and while he was in service, died on 25.04.2017. After the death of her father, the petitioner made an application for compassionate appointment before the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

authority concerned on 22.11.2017. Thereafter the second respondent directed the Thasildar to conduct enquiry on the petitioner's compassionate appointment and submit a report. After receiving the report, the second respondent recommended the petitioner for the post of Junior Assistant. In this regard, the petitioner made a representation to the respondents on 25.11.2019. Till date, the petitioner's application was not considered. Hence, this writ petition.

4.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice, if a direction is issued to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 25.11.2019 and pass orders, within a stipulated time fixed by this Court. 5.Though the petitioner has sought for a larger relief, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.11.2019 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
